Dr. Robert Sartoris graduated from the Southern Illinois University and attended Indiana University School of Optometry. His practice in St. Cloud was established in 1973 and a second office was established in Cold Spring in 1975. In addition, Dr. Sartoris was the Optometric Consultant for the St. Cloud Reformatory for Men from 1976 until 1999, and the Optometric Consultant for the St. Cloud Veterans Hospital from 1979 until 1999. As a result of his work Dr. Sartoris was awarded the 2005 Helen Keller award and the 2006 Melvin Jones Fellowship. These awards were presented by Lions International for his work in eye care and his humanitarian services. He is also a member of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) who provides eye care to third world countries. He and his wife reside in Monticello.
Dr. Beckie Hofer is a native of Britton, SD and graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in biology with minors in chemistry and microbiology before graduating from the Southern California College of Optometry. She performed her clinical rotations at the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD and the Hu Hu Kam Memorial Hospital in Sacatan, AZ. Her special interests in optometry include ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses and refractive surgery. She also enjoys volunteering at the Opening Eyes tent at the Special Olympics. Dr. Hofer is a member of VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity) who provides eye care to third world countries. She and her husband and daughter reside in Cold Spring.
